A shocking video confession of a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander on raising a water force has once again exposed Pakistan’s involvement in spreading terror against India, in particular Jammu and Kashmir.
The video, shared by OSINTTV on microblogging platform X, showed a Let Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) deputy secretary general Harish Dar openly admitting that the “Laskar’s water force is being prepared” with 135 operatives already trained by it.
What did Dar claim regarding the LeT’s water force?
Dar was inspecting the trainees when he brazenly detailed the specialised training programmes held inside Pakistan for these water force operatives such as scuba diving, swimming, high-speed boat riding and handling, apart from social media narrative building.
Confirming that the training provided by PMML/Lashkar-e-Taiba, Dar exposed, inadvertently, that the Pakistan military and state were behind the terror training for these operatives by providing continued support and funding.
How are Dar’s comments an confirmation of India’s charges?
Dar was, in effect, affirming India’s long-held charges against Pakistan of using terror outfits as a proxy to inflict a thousand cuts on India through funding, training, and infrastructural support to carry out terror attacks and to spread social unrest in India, specifically in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Since we were given responsibility, we have conducted programs in three tehsils, and 135 youth have received training on how to operate boats,” he said in the video.
What was the terror threat to India issued by LeT recently?
PMML is widely recognized as a political front for the banned terror organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and its leader’s remarks align with the recent assertions by LeT deputy chief Saifullah Khalid Kasuri that they were intending to “rule the seas” in 2026 after “dominating the skies” in 2025.
“2025 was the year Pakistan became the Prince of the Skies (Fizaon ka Shehzada). Now this is 2026. Before the year ends, Insha’Allah, Pakistan will also become the Prince of the Seas (Samundaron ka Shehzada),” OSINTTV quoted Saifullah as saying.
Why has India repeatedly raised Pakistan’s complicity in terror?
India has repeatedly raised concerns in international organisations regarding Pakistan’s involvement in fanning cross-border terror attacks and its use of terror proxies as part of its state policy to destabilise the South Asian region.
The PMML and LeT leaders’ admissions to this effect only strengthen India’s case of Pakistan being a terrorism epicentre of the world, and its fears of potential terror attacks via the seas or water bodies in 2026.
How has LeT’s involvement in terror grown over the years?
LeT has been involved directly in terror attacks in India, such as the 2008 Mumbai terror strikes that killed over 160 people, including foreign nationals. The terror outfit, already named and shamed by international bodies such as the UN and nations globally, continues to operate openly inside Pakistan.
LeT founder Hafiz Saeed has lived and roams freely in Lahore, Pakistan, for years now, though Pakistan has claimed he was under house arrest following his designation as a global terrorist and due to international pressure.
