India Successfully Test Fires Prithvi-II, Agni-1 Short Range Ballistic Missiles

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Thursday (July 17) night confirmed that India had successfully test-fired the short-range ballistic missiles Prithvi-II and Agni-1 from the Integrated Test Range in Odisha’s Chandipur.

“All operational and technical parameters have been validated. The launches were conducted under the aegis of Strategic Forces Command,” the Ministry said in an update on social media platform X.
