India is all set to shame Pakistan on the world stage with a special exhibition on Capitol Hill in Washinton DC in the US later this month on ‘The Human Cost of Terrorism’ to mark the first anniversary of the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attacks that killed 26 civilians.

The Indian Embassy in Washington would hold the exhibition in the politically important destination in the US capital city to show how Pakistan was linked with several terror attacks globally, particularly against India.

Officials said the initiative was to raise global awareness on terrorism’s impact and to reinforce India’s strong position on the matter.

Similar exhibitions would also be organised at various other destinations globally by Indian missions abroad, including Saudi Arabia, they said.

The exhibition would reiterate India’s ‘zero tolerance’ message on terrorism and its ongoing counter-terrorism efforts. The exhibition would be held closer to the Pahalgam terror attacks anniversary on April 22, to showcase how terror is a global menace, they said.

India’s response in the form of Operation Sindoor against terrorist infrastructure inside Pakistan would also be talked about in the exhibition.

India had also carried out targeted counter-terror operations to track and eliminate the terrorists who were involved in the Pahalgam attacks, as announced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in July 2025.
